Villa Eugenia is located on the very entryway to Lovran, a town and summer resort situated 7 km southwest of Opatija, which represents one of the most beautiful spots with long tourist tradition in Europe, and a very prestigious Mediterranean tourist destination. Situated east of the Old Town in Lovran, Villa Eugenia is surrounded by lush greenery, and the seaboard with the famous Lungo Mare promenade is only fifty meters away.
Protected as a Lovran cultural monument, Villa Eugenia represents a perfect harmony of comfort and simplicity of secession-style expression. It was built in 1910 for Marija Vyskočila, an Austro-Hungarian client, according to Johann Töpfl’s design.
