Waldinger hotel, with its short history, talks about cultural and civilization development of modern Osijek. The secessionist building, who is 100 years old, is preserved as a cultural and environmental monument. It was designed and ornamented by the architect sculptor Antun Slaviček, the artist from the period of Osijek secession. The hotel is named after a painter from Osijek Adolf Ignjo Waldinger, the creator of a phenomenon knows in history of art as “Osijek painting school”.
